11 years old and ready to rule the world.
How my journey began
Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, I’m the only child of hardworking, middle-class parents. My dad taught me early on that “work builds character.” He never missed a day of work in his life.
I got my first job at 15 at our local AMC movie theater, working the concession stand. I mastered the art of popcorn and soda refills pretty quickly. That was in 2000… and I haven’t stopped working since.
I was, and still am, a dreamer. I’ve learned to ground that over the years, but you can still find me staring out a window, lost in my thoughts. At one point, I wanted to be an actress, a psychiatrist, or… wait for it… in the FBI.
Turns out, I found a career that pulls from all three. As a people leader, I get to inspire and motivate, understand how people think and operate, and adapt in real time. I meet people where they are, push them to grow, and help them see what’s possible. And if I’m doing it right, I get to be someone’s champion along the way.
I also break every blonde stereotype you can think of. I watch horror movies regularly, love rock music, and live by the mantra: “It’s better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring.”
I bring a ton of energy to everything I do, but I also mean business. I’ll challenge directly, speak up when it matters, and get things done. And I genuinely believe you can do all of that while still having fun.
Family is my number one priority. I’m naturally a bit of a workhorse, so I’ve had to be intentional about unplugging and being present. I have an incredibly supportive husband. We’ve been together for 19 years and married for almost 13. I knew he was my person the moment I realized he made me better.
I’m also a mom to two incredible boys, an 8 year old and a 4.5 year old (don’t tell him he is 4, he will quickly correct you). They couldn’t be more different, but they’re the best of friends.
My oldest is pure joy. Always smiling, always full of energy, and currently obsessed with WWE and football. My youngest is more introspective, happiest getting lost in his imagination and seeing the world in his own unique way.
They both keep me grounded and constantly remind me what actually matters.
And now, here we are. I’m ready for what’s next. Ready to grow, build, and lead. Ready to inspire and push boundaries.
To change the world, one person at a time… while continuing to evolve as both a leader and a human.
